Katie Marks is a ceramics artist from Seattle, Washington. At community college in 2008, Katie took ceramics, but it wasn't until 2010 when she acquired her first potters wheel. Whilst Katie is 95% self taught, she started off working as a studio assistant and learned everything there was to learn about the ceramics process. The only pictures of her I can find are from around 2017, but she still creates work. Her Etsy is
SilverLiningCeramics, where she sells her mugs, pots, and more. I love her work. Her work is something I could look at forever. The way she uses geometric shapes, colorful glazes, and creativity amazes me. The mugs where they are covered in marble with a geode inside are my favorite.
